We are joining with Burbank Non-Profit Coalition which consists of several Burbank non-profits and service organizations to pack backpacks for children in need who are getting ready to head back to school.
The Rotary Club of Burbank is participating in the Back to School Fair being organized by the Burbank Non-Profit Coalition. Our club is committed to providing 400 boxes of Crayola crayons for the backpacks, helping stuff them, and being at the giveaway event. We've signed up for a booth at the event, so we can participate in the fun!
There are three ways you can help:
- Purchase crayons from our Amazon wishlist. If purchasing somewhere else, please buy the same exact brand/quantity as on the wishlist - Crayola 24 pack. You can mark them as purchased elsewhere on the Amazon wishlist. You can also let Michelle Ries know.
- Volunteer to help stuff backpacks - This is now scheduled. It will be on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 9 am - 12 pm, and Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 12 pm - 3 pm. Please sign up directly via their website. In the "My Comment" section, please put Burbank Noon Rotary, so they know you are with our club.
- Volunteer to help setup and staff our booth at the Back to School Fair. We have two shifts available. We will have an activity to do with the kids and public. Click here to sign up!
