Our Burbank Rotary Foundation approved a grant for $3,000 to support the 2023 Leadership Burbank's Class Project: Reuse, Refill, Rethink. Lauren Conner and Carol Nunez came out from Leadership Burbank to share details of the project, which will install a water refill station in all eleven elementary schools in Burbank. This will help reduce the plastic bottles in our schools and city.
To support the project, you can donate online, or attend their fundraiser tonight, April 15th, at the YMCA Social Impact Center. Tickets are only $50. With any excess funds, they will install additional refill stations at other schools in Burbank.
