Our service project of the month supported Project Angel Food
Our club chose to support Project Angel Food as its service project for the month. Anna Varnon-Grier scheduled a visit from two representatives from Project Angel Food to do a brief presentation on the organization and how they support their clients.
They provide a variety of services to their clients, including delivering meals. In addition to meals, PAF also delivers birthday bags to these clients. Our Interact Club decorated bags to be used as birthday bags. Anna worked with club members to fill out greeting cards to be included in the birthday bags and we collected small gifts to be included with the birthday bags. It filled the back of their SUV!
Once Covid is somewhat subdued, we plan on scheduling a workday to go to their location and cook in the kitchen.
