History
History
For more than a century, the Rotary Club of Burbank Noon has been bringing together people who share a passion for service, leadership, and community impact. Founded in 1923 — just 12 years after Burbank became an incorporated city — the club has played an active role in helping our city grow and thrive.

Among the club's earliest leaders was James C. Crawford, a banker, civic leader, Burbank's fifth mayor, and the club's first president. His vision of community service helped establish a legacy that continues today.

Over the past 100+ years, thousands of members from a wide range of professions and backgrounds have called Burbank Noon Rotary home. While our members have changed with the times, one thing has remained constant: a commitment to Service Above Self.

Today, we proudly welcome members ages 18 and older from all professions, cultures, and walks of life. Our diversity is our strength, bringing together unique perspectives, experiences, and talents that help our club and community thrive.

Rotary is also a place for personal and professional growth. Through committee leadership, project management, public speaking opportunities, networking, mentoring, and hands-on service initiatives, members develop valuable leadership and communication skills while building lifelong friendships and professional connections.

Whether you're looking to make a difference, grow as a leader, expand your network, or give back to your community, Burbank Noon Rotary offers meaningful opportunities to learn, lead, and serve — locally and around the world.

Paul Harris Fellow
The origins of Paul Harris Fellow recognition. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.
